A large part of the success of CBX has been its commitment to the passenger, always seeking to meet their needs and exceed their expectations. As a result of this commitment, Cross Border Xpress was presented the Passenger Experience Achievement award by ATW, Air Transport World, who recognize excellence in the aviation industry on a global level annually.

CBX has also been recognized by the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

In addition to offering a quick crossing, CBX has additional services that facilitate travel even more. To transfer, once you arrive at the CBX terminal, you can take the shuttle to San Ysidro, San Diego, or even Anaheim, Huntington Park, Santa Ana, and Los Angeles with rates that range from $6 to $25, depending on the route.

You can also choose to rent a car with the main rental companies, including Hertz, Avis, and Mex Rent a Car.

And, if passengers prefer to leave their cars in the parking lot, CBX has a 2,200 vehicle capacity, having recently added 4,300 spaces and offering a variety of short-term rates that range from $15 to $18 per day for more user comfort.

What to eat at CBX

Another service CBX offers is food and drink on the renovated patio for outdoor food trucks, where you can enjoy urban food such as tacos, burritos, tostadas, and ceviche, among other dishes. Since June 4, there has also been a Starbucks inside the terminal, which is open from 5 a.m. to midnight.

The success of Cross Border Xpress is undeniable. Although it is still at the beginning of a long journey, it is clear that, for CBX, the voice of the passenger is vital to continue improving the travel experience.
