For over 30 years, the San Diego Zoo has worked alongside conservation partners in China to protect giant pandas and ensure the survival of both the species and the bamboo forests they depend on. You can now visit the Panda Ridge in the San Diego Zoo, home to two beloved giant pandas: Xin Bao, a female panda, and Yun Chuan, a male panda, both born at the San Diego Zoo. To visit Panda Ridge, you'll need to secure a complimentary timed ticket, which you can obtain on the same day as your zoo visit. Simply scan the QR code on your ticket or request one at the Tour and Memberships booth inside the zoo. These timed tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don’t have a timed ticket, you can still join the standby line, though access is not guaranteed.
